Bridges of Trade project: Kick-off meeting

On December 21, 2020 was held an on-line kick-off meeting under the Bridges of Trade Project financed under the Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020.

 

The joint project aim is bridging the gap between buyers and sellers in agriculture and connected sectors in five EU countries (Greece, Romania, Armenia, Moldova and Turkey). The main project objectives are developing TRADING BRIDGES NETWORK, implementing SME trainings of enterprises and organizing BRIDGEs events. The project partners are Municipality of Nestos, Association of Cross-Border Cooperation “Lower Danube Euroregion”, Chamber of Commerce and industry of the Republic of Armenia, City Hall of Balti Municipality, and Catalca District Governorate.

 

Municipality of Nestos (Lead Partner of the Project) was the organizer of the online kick-off meeting, with the participation of representatives from all Project Partners who are non-governmental organizations and regional public bodies.

 

The project is expected to have perennial and multiplier effect in agricultural and connected sectors and to expand trading links established by ensuring sustainability, transferability and multiplier effect.
