Participants Training in Turkey

As Project Partner 5 within the Bridges of Trade Project, Çatalca District Governorate implemented Participants Training activity, aimed to inform project beneficiaries on elements of the legislation regarding the international trade, quality requirements, incoterms, financial transactions, pricing, transportation methods, principles of negotiations, licensing and certifaction of food products before and after import and export from 1st November to 5th November, 5 days and 20 hours in total.

 

At the opening organization of Participants Training Course, Çatalca District Governor Erdoğan Turan Ermiş, Çatalca Mayor Mesut Üner, Provincial Agriculture Deputy Manager Nazif Koca and Head of the Chamber of Agriculture Seyit Çetin, all gave their speechs and stated their good wishes for the success of the training sessions and project itself.

 

After the opening programme, on the first day experts from Provincial Agricultural Directorate informed the beneficiaries about licensing, certifaction and laboratory analysis processes before exporting and after importing a food product. The second day and after, experts from Customs Consultancy and Brokerage firm started informing about the general curriculum required by the project. On the last day of the training session, before the closure, trainers carried out a question and answer and open debate session. Participants filled in event evaluation questionnaires and training programme was completed.
